Hoosac School's AAA Basketball team is one of the most elite prep basketball teams in the nation. Graduates routinely matriculate to Division I basketball programs, many receiving full scholarships.

Hoosac School competes in the most competitive high school basketball league in the country, the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), at the AAA level. The Hoosac AAA basketball program is based on the notion that to get to the collegiate level every team member must not only be great at basketball, but an excellent student as well.  Our academic program is geared to help our students gain not only knowledge, but a passion for learning that rivals their passion for basketball.

Recent graduates cannot only claim basketball success by having defeated top teams like Brewster Academy and Northfield Mount Hermon, they can also take pride in superior SAT scores and excellent GPA’s.  This combination of talent and intellect has led to over thirty Division 1 offers in the last two years. Recent graduates include Maks Klanjscek '19 (Oklahoma), Pavle Djurisic '19 (Austin Peay), Goran Miladinovic '19 (Marshall), Marko Sarenac '19 (Marshall), Seny N'Diaye '20 (West Virgnia), Vukasin Masic '20 (Hofstra), Veljko Ilic '20 (Loyola Maryland), Milos Ilic '20 (Loyola Maryland), Novak Perovic '21 (University of Maine), Aymeric Toussaint '21 (Marshall), Sebastian Thomas '21 (University of Rhode Island) and Vladimir Pavlovic '23 (University of California).

In order to maximize training opportunities many of our players work with the International Sports Academy (ISA) for basketball specific training.  This intense program provides a level of dedication that few students have access to. Student athletes reside in ISA’s dormitory complete with a basketball court just yards away from their dorm rooms.  All educational programs are conducted at Hoosac while basketball training takes place throughout the year at ISA.

The 2018-19 academic year marked the inaugural season for Hoosac's AAA basketball team. Following their first official season, four of Hoosac's five starters received full-scholarships to Division I universities.
