The Hoosac boys hockey team has always been ready to play any team, anywhere, and this season is no different. They faced off against a much bigger and confident team in Buckingham Browne and Nichols, and were able to be the spoiler on their ice, securing their first NEPSAC win of the season with a final score of 5-1. The scoring started off in the first period with Senior Alexi Parent '23, assists came from Cole Elwood '23 and Davis Carpenter '23.

The Owls went on to score four more unanswered goals with another one in the first, one in the second, and two in the third period. Goals came from Eliot Lauzon '23 (2), Avery Hilton '24, and Noah Jimbo '24. Senior goaltender Dan Norton '23 also picked up his first win in net at Hoosac, stopping 29 out of 30 shots. BB&M didn’t offer much of an answer and the Hoosac boys skated to a decisive victory, stunning the hometown Boston crowd that had come out to see the game.
