Prefect Induction & Talent Show Highlight Family Weekend

This past weekend we had our very first virtual Family Weekend! Parents, siblings, grandparents and friends would typically visit the campus for a weekend filled with exciting activities. On Saturday there are parent-teacher conferences followed by a college counseling information session and on-campus sporting events. Friday always includes a reception in Tibbits Mansion followed by a dinner, Prefect Induction and talent show. This year, however, things were a bit different.
Since the founding of the school it has always been recognized that the students must play a role in the operation of the school. Our founder firmly believed, as does Headmaster Foster today, that students learn best by doing and that they must be given opportunities that not only elevate them, but challenge them to do more. Our Prefects are the embodiment of that notion. We invite you to watch the following video as we celebrate this year's Prefects as they take on the daunting task of leading a school in the middle of a global crisis.
Following the Prefect induction was a talent presentation. Our students represent a broad range of musical and artistic abilities. This presentation highlighted some of the best performances, pieces and art that our students have created over the first four weeks of the school year. Take a moment to revel in the excellence displayed.
