Hoosac School students participated this Saturday in Love Your Park Clean-up Day at the Bennington Battlefield site. In addition to their hard work clearing trails, planting trees and flowers, and painting, they visited the location where Col. Baum and Col. Pfister were mortally wounded during the battle and where they were subsequently buried. Col. Franz Pfister at that time owned the land now occupied by Hoosac School.
