Spinetta '20 Crowned Champion of USTA Tournament

The Hoosac School varsity tennis program is already off to a blazing start, and the official season is yet to even begin. Federico Spinetta '20 became champion of the USTA tournament Manchester By The Sea, defeating Robert Hagan, a freshman and Division 1 NCAA tennis player for Fordham University!
Federico Spinetta '20 and Rafael Gerdes Macedo '21 were also named finalists in the doubles competition.
Head Coach and Associate Director of Athletics & Admission, Ricardo Canto Pereira, couldn't be more proud of how his students competed this past weekend. The Owls have a very bright future under Pereira's tutelage and have seen much success both on the court and in the classroom in just the program's first year!
