Senior Prefect Lehakoe Tserane '23 Attends Harvard Summer School & Takes Part in United Nations International Youth Day

Senior Prefect Lehakoe Tserane '23 has had nothing short of a busy Summer Vacation. For the past seven weeks, she has been at the Harvard Summer School program studying college courses such as Macroeconomics, Sustainable Product Design, and the Innovation Ecosystem. 
 
 
While there, she was appointed as a Research Assistant (Temporary Researcher) at Harvard University by Dr. Ramon Sanchez at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Lehakoe has worked on the Innovation Ecosystem of South Africa, and began by sending surveys to South Africans across multiple demographics. 
 
On August 12th, she was invited to attend the International Youth Day by the United Nations at the United Nations Plaza in New York City. She spoke on Youth involvement, education and various other related topics. She is pictured below at the Bahá’i International Community Offices at the United Nations.
