Winter has finally arrived at Hoosac with the first snowstorm of the New Year. Unfortunately, the snow fell in the daytime and that meant a lot of cancelations on the athletic calendar. Classes of course continued on, but what to do with an entire afternoon that had suddenly freed up? The girls hockey coaches, Bill Ward and Alli Sugar, while disappointed that their game was canceled, came up with another competition that was perhaps even more fun.

The girls from the team organized into small groups and had a snowman-making contest. Tremendous effort was put in and the end results were full of Hoosac Spirit. Nothing keeps our girls from competing!
