Black History Month Honored Through School-Wide Presentations

In honor of Black History Month Hoosac continues our student presentations each Monday. This week three separate groups presented about Dr. Walter Samuel McAfee, Patricia Bath and St. Elmo Brady. Knowing the past is just as important as plotting the future. By learning about these influential and unfortunately often overlooked black scientists, doctors, and activists we can secure in the minds of our Hoosac students the real and necessary need to help promote equality and justice in the future.
