15 Students Selected to Bennington Museum Art Show
February 27th, 2020
This year Hoosac School has FIFTEEN students from Mr. & Mrs. Sussman's 2D & 3D classes with artwork on display in the Parmelee & Limric Galleries in The Bennington Museum!
"The annual Student Art Show brings artwork of the region's elementary, middle and high school students to the Museum in a display ranging from whimsical projects by the young students to more advanced work of older students. Visitors can explore the artistic development of children as they address a particular topic or by age grouping. Ceramic work, paper sculptures, and more complement collage, pastels, and pen and ink drawings. This exhibit runs through March 10 and is on view in the Parmelee and Limric Galleries."
Students with artwork on display this year are Tyler Drummond, Luka Popovic, Uros Stepanovic, Lucy Wang, Caitlin Welsh, Bauer Ward, Antonio Ezio Vaccari, Emma Robinson, Mandy Li, Sophia Gocio, Linda Sun, Catherine Li, Elliot Spadone, Lily Shen & Chuer Ming!
Mediums range from foamcore to watercolor, charcoal, graphite, wire, colored pencil and mixed media.
All of their hard work paid off when they were able to visit the Bennington Museum and see the compilation of artwork, including their own, that was on display. Director of Public Programs, Deana Mallory, was kind enough to take Hoosac on a private tour of both the show and their permanent collection!
