Every student's journey here at Hoosac is different; Mya’s is certainly one worth noting. Her time at Hoosac began when she toured the campus during the inaugural girls hockey season. What started as an athletic endeavor has blossomed into a story of growth and development that while not rare at Hoosac, you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. The hard work and dedication that Mya, her parents and her teachers put in has resulted in an outcome that while hoped for, was far from guaranteed. At Hoosac Mya met her challenges head on and as a result she is now positioned to not only attend college, but continue to play the sport that brought her to Hoosac.
