Hoosac School is situated on the perfect landscape for Cross Country meets, including 350 acres of both mountainous and flat terrain.

Cross Country runners at Hoosac utilize 350 acres in the mountains of beautiful upstate New York for practices, as well as competitions with other NEPSAC affiliate schools. On a daily basis, students are provided with workouts that challenge the athlete both through running drills, as well as plyometrics.  While Hoosac athletes compete with other runners in competitions, they also set personal goals and expectations tracking their progress throughout the year. Aleksandar Kirilov '17, a member of both the cross country and track & field teams at Hoosac, won the 2019 Men's Track & Field Championship for William Carey University of the Southern States Athletic Conference.
